Updates

Until last night, we've been on a blog hiatus. As many of you know, we've had quite a bit of change since our last post. Here's a summary:

-On April 8th, Rob's father passed away. There is so much to say, but at the same time, there is nothing to say. We miss him everyday and the grieving comes in waves. We are praying for him and our family frequently and ask for your prayers as well. Here is the last photo I have of him and Rosalie. We love you, Arnold.


-Rosalie was baptized on April 11th. We had a beautiful day! Thank you to all of our friends and family who helped us celebrate this joyous occasion! Here are my favorite pictures from the day, all taken by Colleen.









-Rosalie turned 4 months on Saturday, May 1st. She has grown so much this past month. Most significantly, she started to sleep through the night and she rolls over now (see video dump below)! Rosalie first loved attempting rolling over on her right side, but now she completes this task regularly on her left side. She loves rolling around so much that we often put her to sleep on her back, but then check on her a few minutes later to find her on her side or stomach. We usually find her rotated in the crib 180 degrees as well. She's such a mover and groover! Here are photos from her 3 month birthday, as previously promised.







-Saturday was the Illinois Marathon, so my free-time is free again! Facebook here I come?? It was another great race, and everyone is looking forward to next year already. Just think how big Rosalie will be then!

-Yesterday I returned to work full-time. I already miss Rosalie so much. Time can only tell how this is going to play out, but I have to at least to try to be a good mother and career woman.
