Mary has returned to work full-time. It's a big bummer. It's been so wonderful being able to spend every afternoon with her; for four months, we've been able to share the burden(?), responsibility (?), fun (?) of raising Rosalie, and we've been able to share quality time together (when I wasn't out for a run and she wasn't working on coordinating the IL Marathon volunteer efforts). I look at this as just a routine change - I pick up Rosalie and take her to see Mary over lunch. Then, Rosalie naps. We play for an hour. And Mary comes home. Really, Mary won't be missing much.
For day #1, I took Rosalie for a walk.
So much more fun to come, especially when Mary is home with us.
